Do you know that you can also show your creativity in designing your own workout routine? There are a lot of different activities out there that offer great physical exercise and do not involve spending time at the gym. The following exercise activities are easy and fun to do. Give time to do at least a couple of them and fit them into your schedule and daily life.

1. Jump rope for 5 minutes a few times a week. Hop, skip and jump your way to good health. All you need is a jump rope -- cheap and handy piece of equipment that will get your heart pumping and help tone your leg and arm muscles.

2. Going somewhere? Hop on that bike! Cycling is one of the many great and fun ways to get into shape. Whether you need to run an errand or simply enjoy a fine weather outdoors, this is your chance to burn some calories, build strength, stamina and muscle tone, improve coordination and reduce stress.

3. Workout while watching you favorite TV show. You don't have to feel guilty with the time you spend in front of the television if you can squeeze in a couple of exercises such as lifting small weights and running in place. Check out these couch potato exercise drills that you can do during commercial breaks.

4. Run with a friend or friends! It's more fun to run alongside someone you enjoy to be with and you are more motivated to keep up with each other as you go. The friendly competition will keep you at it and there will always be someone to encourage you to go further.

5. Why not video games?! It's fun and you can do it with your family and friends. There's Wii Fit games, Kinect Sports, or Dance Dance Revolution. Anything to get your body moving!

If you smoke, try quitting. It may not be easy at first, but you'll see that you'll find it easier to reach your fitness goals and achieve optimum health once you quit smoking. It's another way to show that you love your body.

Take at least a little time to exercise everyday. When you're bored and when you have nothing to do, grab the chance to workout. Get yourself in the mood by listening to music, especially the upbeat ones. It works for me -- it makes me want to dance. I dance while de-cluttering, washing the dishes, or even just in front of the mirror.

And you, what are your daily exercise activities?
