The Couch Potato Workout

A couch potato is a person who lives a sedentary lifestyle, meaning someone who doesn't do or rarely does any physical activity. In 2008, the United States American National Health Interview Survey (NHIS) showed that 36% of adults were considered inactive and 59% of adult respondents never participated in vigorous physical activity lasting more than 10 minutes per week. But Americans know that exercise is good for their health. Still, many are overweight and out-of-shape couch potatoes.

That's why I'm sharing this video by Jari Love. It will show you how to do simple workout exercises that would, at least, get those limbs moving. She suggests that while watching TV, especially during commercial breaks, try to burn some calories by following these simple drills.

I know you love TV. That's fine! But if you do these exercises once in a while and engage into some more physical activities, you will definitely cut your risks of certain diseases and improve your health.
